A Washington State couple sold fake degrees from more than 120 fictitious online universities to at least 9,612 buyers in 131 countries before being sentenced to three years each.
Dixie and Steven Randock pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit wire and mail fraud over the 'Operation Gold Seal' diploma mill network and were sentenced in 2008.
