33 millioncounterfeit items CBP seized in FY2024
US Customs and Border Protection seized nearly 33 million counterfeit items in fiscal year 2024, worth over $5.4 billion had they been genuine.
Handbags and wallets were the single largest category by count. China and Hong Kong together accounted for roughly 90% of everything seized by quantity that year.
